👎 We own a few shares and a model Yp (with zero issues) and I really wish Tesla would hold their cards a little closer to the chest when it comes to announcing new models in advance. The new Y is different because the 3 and the Y are on the same platform. Saying that, this content was useless and mindless. 👎. I am not subscribed.

Back in May bought a Model Y that they had in stock (in Burbank) Friday evening and it was ready on Tuesday. Got a text 20 minutes before my appointment time telling me what space to go to and that’s it. I was on my own but if I had any questions there were employees around. Luckily no issues 😊

I kind of feel like I’m in a very good position… I currently have a MYpreformance that s coming up on lease end in December.. The current thought is that I’m in a great spot because the new MY Juniper should be rolling out or at least open for ordering by this December if not earlier… if they still have not released a new model Y by then… I can happily pull the trigger on a model 3 performance at that time.

100% absolutely do by a Tesla right now. It is a brand new car with the latest hardware, suspension, software, better built than all of the rest. Do not wait around for “refresh“ like all the other crazy Tesla people. If you want a Tesla, now is an excellent time to buy with excellent Price point

Definitely going for the model Y in the next month. I’ve been doing a good amount of research for the past month. Good information, do you think it will be anymore extra incentives on the current Y soon? Was thinking of going used but it seems to make sense on going new because the prices are not too far off from each other.

I have a question, if I lease a Tesla MY would I be able to buy it out after the lease end. I saw that you can’t buy it out after the lease ends, but in 3 years will they still not allow you?

I ordered at the tail end of the .99 financing offer and currently still waiting for a VIN assignment/firm delivery date. A little frustrated and mostly nervous about ensuring I will still get the .99 interest rate... but I would LOVE if that ended up with getting a slightly refreshed version that swapped out the wood panels and added the interior light strip. Either way, can't wait to get my first Tesla!!

I have a 22 M3SR and love my car. I was thinking about a MY, but I got screwed after buying my car, and the price dropped, AND they approved the tax credit 😤. Needles to say, I owe more on my car than it's worth, so I'll wait. I'll make her look new after her bday in September, so I'm good. I can wait 😊

I recently leased a Hyundai Ioniq 5 on very favorable terms for two years. And the 2024 Model 3 Performance will arrive in two days. When the Ioniq's lease ends in two years, it might be a good idea to consider buying a new Model Y then.

Model Y is out of fads. At least in Europe: "Model Y dropped from first place in the table in May 2023 to 18th last month." (That's what 49% drop in sales YoY does.)
